 How UP Police SI Merit List is calculated :-

The Final merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in the written examination for each category as per the state government policy and this list will be sent for medical examination/document verification to the concerned department. No waiting list will be prepared by the board. If two or more than two candidates have equal marks, their selection in the preference list will be based on the following points:
 If two or more than two candidates have equal marks, the preference will be given to the candidate who have some qualification preference under the qualification preference order. If a candidate has more than one qualification preference, only one of them will be considered.
If two or more than two candidates share equal marks and also have equal qualification preference, then the preference will be given to the candidate with higher age.
If the candidates are meeting the above requirements, then the preference will be given according to the alphabetical order of their names mentioned in their high school certificate.
