NICL AO Prelims Preparation Tips 2017
- You must
have noticed as no major changes have come up in the prelims section. The
only thing can be changed is the level of the exam i.e it can be moderate
to difficult or can be a lengthy examination for which you just need
practice and make yourself prepared.
- This
brings us to the most important tip. Prelims exam is all about Speed. This
is basically your speed test and you need to push yourselves to attempt at
least 65-70 questions in the Prelims exam. And how do you achieve that?
Answer is pretty simple.. Practice..!
- Now comes
the point accuracy, so practice makes a man perfect, as much as you
practice you will improve your skills and will notice the change.
- Accuracy
is the only part which confirms your result to be turn out in mains.
- Preliminary
Exam is just Qualifying in nature. In simple terms, you need to clear the sectional and overall cutoff. You do not need to score too much.
- Now,
comes the question which section to select first. So,
you should start from the section you are good at. For Example- if you are
good at reasoning try to score minimum 20-25 questions.
- Suppose,
If you are not good at English then at least attempt 12-15 Questions with
accuracy to clear the sectional cut off. Select the questions according to
your ability, do not waste time on any particular question as it will help
you to achieve more questions in less number of time with more accuracy.
- You can
try mock test to cover up the section you are weak at. Analyse your strong
and weak areas and accordingly try to fix time for each section and
attempt that section in your allotted time.
