What is the age eligibility criteria for posts under RBI Grade B Officer recruitment 2018 ?
- Minimum age of the candidate should be 21 years and the maximum age should be 30 years as on 1st July 2018.
- For candidates possessing M. Phil and PhD qualifications, the minimum age limit is 32 years and the maximum age limit is 34 years.
What is the educational eligibility criteria for posts of Officers in Grade 'B' (DR) (General) under RBI Grade B Officer recruitment 2018 ?
- Candidate must possess a minimum of 60% marks (50% in case of SC/ST/PWD) or an equivalent grade in Bachelor’s degree as well as in 12th (or Diploma or equivalent) and 10th Standard examinations. Aggregate for all years/ semesters will be considered for minimum qualifying percentage or an equivalent grade for the Bachelor’s degree.
What is the educational eligibility criteria for posts of Officers in Gr B (DR) ( Economics and Policy Research Deapartment, DEPR) under RBI Grade B Officer recruitment 2018 ?
Candidate must possess Master's Degree in Economics / Econometrics / Quantitative Economics / Mathematical Economics / Integrated Economics Course/ Finance, with a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters /years from a recognized Indian or Foreign University /Institute.
What is the educational eligibility criteria for posts of Officers in Gr B (DR) (Statistics and Information Management Deaprtment) under RBI Grade B Officer recruitment 2018 ?
- A Master's Degree in Statistics/ Mathematical Statistics/ Mathematical Economics/ Econometrics/ Statistics & Informatics from IIT-Kharagpur/ Applied Statistics & Informatics from IIT-Bombay with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters/years; OR
- Master's Degree in Mathematics with a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters/years and a one-year post-graduate diploma in Statistics or related subjects from an institute of repute; OR
- M. Stat. Degree of Indian Statistical Institute with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate of all semesters/years OR
- Post Graduate Diploma in Business Analytics (PGDBA) jointly offered by ISI Kolkata, IIT Kharagpur and IIM Calcutta with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters/years.
NOTE: For SC, ST and PWD candidates, the minimum marks required in Master's Degree as in items a, b, c and d above is 50% or an equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters/ years.
My university/college does not award marks/result in percentage , and it allots aggregate grade points such as CGPA/OGPA/CPI, etc. In this case , how should I calculate my marks in percentage value ?
Some Universities/Colleges do not award Class or percentage of marks and allot
Aggregate Grade Points in form of CGPA/OGPA/CPI, etc. If your
University/college defines criteria for conversion of aggregate Grade Point
into percentage of marks, then the same will be accepted. But ,if your
University/ college does not define criteria for conversion of
Aggregate Grade Point into percentage of marks, in the degree/passing
certificates, then you can convert your Equivalent CGPA/OGPA/CPI or similar
terminologies allotted on a 10 point scale in to percentage as per the
following table :

No
, you are not eligible . To apply for Officer Grade B , General a candidate
must have completed his/her graduation as on 1st may , 2018.
To apply for Officers in Gr B (DR) – ( Economics and Policy Research Department,
DEPR) and Officers in Gr B (DR) – ( Economics and Policy
Research Deapartment, DEPR) , a candidate must have completed his/her
post graduation ( in the mentioned subjects only) as on 1st may , 2018.

How many times I can appear for this RBI Grade B officer Exam ?
Candidates
belonging to General category can appear for maximum six times in this exam. It
means if you have already given the phase 1 examination for the posts under
this recruitment six times earlier , then you are not eligible to apply for
this exam seventh time. There is no such limit on number of attempts for
candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PWD for this exam.
What is the salary structure of the posts under this recruitment?
Selected Candidates will draw a starting basic pay of Rs. 35,150/- p.m. in the scale of Rs. 35150-1750 (9)-50900-EB-1750 (2)-54400-2000 (4)-62400 applicable to Officers in Grade B and they will also be eligible for Dearness Allowance, Local allowance, House Rent Allowance, Family allowance and Grade Allowance as per rules in force from time to time. At present, initial monthly Gross emoluments are approximately Rs. 75,831/-(approx.)

What is the structure of Phase 1 online Examination for posts of Officers in Grade 'B' (DR) (General) ?
The
phase 1 exam for this recruitment is an online exam of total 200 marks. A total
time of 120 minutes will be given to answer all the questions. The phase 1
online exam will consist of following four sections :
i)General Awareness
ii) English Language
iii) Quantitative Aptitude
iv) Reasoning
Candidates have to secure sectional cutoff in each section as well as overall
cutoff in this phase 1 to be shortlisted for the phase 2 of this
recruitment-

these two posts under this recruitment , the Phase 1 will consist of only Paper
I (on Economics) that will Objective Type to be held on June 17, 2018 . This
paper 1 is of total 100 marks and 120 minutes will be given to answer all
questions.
What is the structure of Phase 2 online Examination for posts of Officers in Grade 'B' (DR) (General) ?
Phase
2 online examination will be in shifts. It is compulsory for a candidate to
appear in all the shifts of this phase. This Phase 2 online exam is of total
