IDBI Assistant Manager & Executive 2016-17 Exam Pattern & Syllabus

The notification for the post of IDBI Assistant Manager Grade A as well as Executive was released by IDBI last month. Today we are sharing the exam details, pattern and expected syllabus for these exams.

IDBI Assistant Manager Grade A -

Exam Details of IDBI Assistant Manager Grade A -

Number of Vacancies	1000
Course Structure	The exam is being conducted for admission in Manipal School of Banking, Bengaluru for 1 year Post Graduate Diploma in Banking and Finance (PGDBF) comprising of -   (a) 9 months of classroom studies at MGES Bengaluru   (b) 3 months internship at IDBI Bank’s branches.

Commencement of Call letter download	After 17.01.2017
Selection Procedure	Exam will be conducted in 2 phases -   (a) Online Exam   (b) Interview
Service Bond	Candidates will have to serve for a minimum period of 3 years from the date of their joining Bank’s service or shall have to pay a bond amount of 2 lakh.
Programme Fees	Total fees of the course is Rs. 3,50,000/- (Three lakh fifty thousand only) (excluding service tax). Students can pay the course fees in instalments as per a fixed schedule during the 1 year programme.   Candidates can also finance the course fees by availing Education Loan from IDBI.
Emoluments	Stipend (During the Training Period of 9 Months) - Rs. 2500/- per month  During the Internship Period of 3 Months - Rs. 10000/- per month After successful completion of the course, candidates will be posted as Assistant Manager Grade ‘A’ (Basic pay - Rs. 14,400/- per month) at the bank.

Exam Details of IDBI Executive -

Vacancies	500
Exam Date (Tentative)	06.01.2017
Appointment	Contractual Basis for 1 year. On successful completion of a period of 3 years of contractual service, appointees may become eligible for appointment as Assistant Manager (Grade A) in IDBI Bank through a selection process that would be conducted by Bank.
Emoluments	First year of service - Rs. 17,000 per month   Second year of service - Rs. 18,500 per month   Third year of service - Rs. 20,000 per month..
Selection procedure	Candidates who are successful in the online test, would be called for a document verification and pre-recruitment medical test.
