Today SSC has conducted the re-exam of SSC CGL Tier-II Quant Section. The SSC CGL Tier-II Exam was conducted by SSC from 17th February to 22nd February 2018. Quant paper questions were asked as per the exam pattern. There were 100 questions carrying 2 marks each. Also, there was a penalty of 0.5 marks mentioned for every wrong answer marked. In today's SSC CGL Tier-II Exam, Quantitative Aptitude had no assuaged but a little splenetic and tougher question set. Most of the questions were very lengthy or very calculated and time demanding.   • Questions from trigonometry were conceptual based.  
  • Students who appeared for the exam said that 2 wrong questions were there in the exam.
  • Data Interpretation topic (Tabular). It was calculative. The questions were based on Production of Rice & Wheat.
  • Same as 21 Feb Exam: Arithmetic Maths & The Advanced Maths
  • Difficult & Time Consuming:  Geometry, Mensuration. Some Simplification questions were statement based
  • Difficult Section: Mensuration & Geometry (Circle Part) questions were difficult to solve. Prism, Pyramid questions were also found.
  • Easy Section: Profit & Loss, Average, Time & Work 
  • No Questions : Co-ordinate Geometry.

  1. Hemisphere changed into numerous cone.
  2. Find the curved surface area of a Prism which is cut into 10 parts.
  3. One question from Hexagon. 
  4. One question from Successive discount.
  5. Trigonometry formula based. Cos(a+b) type.
  6. One from Common tangent.
  7. Cone cut by 3 parallel line.
  8. 3 questions from Compound interest.
  9. One question from Area of shaded region.
  10. If a number is increased by 40, it becomes more than 25% of itself. What is the number?
  11. A prism with a height of 20 was given with a square base and the side of square was 8m. If the prism is cut 9 times into 10 equal parts parallel to its base. What will be the total surface area?
  12. Two chords of a circle are on the same side. The length of the chords is 24 and 32. The difference between these two chords is 8 cm. Find the area of the circle?
  13. The inner volume and outer curved surface area of hemisphere were given. The inner and outer radius were asked.. (similar to this type of question not exact)
  14. Length of the direct common tangent of two identical circles of radius 10 cm is 26 cm. Find the length of the transverse common tangent?
