Now it’s time to have a look at the much awaited IBPS PO Prelims Exam Analysis. The overall difficulty level of IBPS PO Prelims paper was Moderate. Questions were direct and formula based. IBPS PO Prelims 2017 Exam is next scheduled on 8th, 14th and 15th October 2017.

IBPS PO Prelims Over-all Exam Analysis :  Moderate-Difficult

Three sections in total were asked in IBPS PO Preliminary Examination: English Language, Reasoning Ability and Quantitative AptitudeOverall level of the IBPS PO exam can be categorised as Moderate-Difficult

Some of the questions like Inequality etc were easy to attempt while others like Puzzles and miscellaneous questions of quant section were comparatively difficult to attempt.

Based on the sectional and overall level of the exam of IBPS PO conducted in 03rd slot, here is the number of good attempts:

In Quantitative Aptitude Section, the level of paper was Moderate.
  • The only change seen in this shift is that questions from Number Series were asked in place of Quadratic Equations

As expected, English Language section was twisted and the level of paper was Moderate to Difficult compared to the other two sections asked in IBPS PO Prelims.
  • Reading Comprehension: Related to  Economy of Myanmar and ASEAN Countries 
  • There were 04-05 Questions of Antonyms and Synonyms with the passage. 
  • Although it may seem that the error detection questions are totally from a new pattern but upon reading the directions carefully you will find that you can attempt them.

The level of Reasoning Ability section asked in IBPS PO Prelims 2017 was Moderate.
  • There were no major changes in this section. 
  • Maximum Questions were asked from Syllogism, Inequalities, Sitting Arrangement, and Puzzles.
  • The number and level of the puzzles was increased this year. There were 4 puzzles and Seating Arrangement which are given below:-
    • Linear (North facing 2 variable)
    • Square Seating Arrangement (1 Variable)
    • Persons and Months (3 Variable)
    • Department allocation related (3 Variable)
