IBPS PO 2017 Prelims Exam Analysis : The Forth Shift of IBPS PO 2017 Prelims Exam has been finally conducted at various centres across the country. Now it’s time to have a look at the much awaited IBPS PO Prelims Exam Analysis. The overall difficulty level of IBPS PO Prelims paper was Moderate. Questions were direct and formula based. IBPS PO Prelims 2017 Exam is next scheduled on 8th, 14th and 15th October 2017.

The Prelims Exam for IBPS PO will be held in total 4 slots.
The Time slots are as follows : 8:00 am, 10:30 am, 1:00 pm & 3.30 pm.
Exam Pattern of IBPS PO 2017 Prelims Exam :
The Prelims Examination will consist of three sections namely Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning Ability and English Language.
- The Question paper is of 100 marks and time allotted for the exam is 1 hour.
- Negative marking of 0.25 marks is applied on each wrong answer.
IBPS PO Prelims Exam Analysis Over-all: Moderate
Three sections in total were asked in IBPS PO Preliminary Examination: English Language, Reasoning Ability and Quantitative Aptitude. Overall level of the IBPS PO exam can be categorised as Moderate.
Some of the questions like Inequality etc were easy to attempt while others like Puzzles and miscellaneous questions of quant section were comparatively difficult to attempt.
Based on the sectional and overall level of the exam of IBPS PO conducted in 1st slot, here is the number of good attempts:

IBPS PO Exam Analysis Quantitative Aptitude: Moderate-Difficult
In Quantitative Aptitude Section, the level of paper was Moderate.The level of quantitative aptitude section was similar to the 3rd shift. I
- The only change seen in this shift is that questions from Quadratic Equations were asked in place of Number Series.
- Questions were asked from Number Series, DI, Line graph and from Tables.

IBPS PO Exam Analysis English Language: Moderate-Difficult
As expected, English Language section was twisted and the level of paper was Moderate to Difficult compared to the other two sections asked in IBPS PO Prelims.
- The topic of Reading Comprehension was related to Pollution worldwide.
- There were 02 questions of Antonyms and 01 question of synonym with the passage.
- The error detection questions are totally from a new pattern but upon reading the directions carefully you will find that you can attempt them.

The level of Reasoning Ability section asked in IBPS PO Prelims 2017 was Moderate.
The questions were:- There were no major changes in this section.
