Uttar Pradesh (UP) Police has announced notification for UP Police Sub Inspector for a total vacancy of 3307 posts. This Exam was supposed to be conducted in 2016 but It will is going to be conducted in July 2017. Uttar Pradesh SI Police - Syllabus & Exam Pattern
The UP Police SI exam is an objective test of 400 marks with a time duration of 2 hours (120 minutes) The exam pattern consists of four different subjects as given below:| Subject | Questions | Marks |

This online test will consist of total 160 questions where each question will carry a weightage of 25 marks

UP Police SI Selection Process - 2017
Selection of the candidates will be based on three major tests - Physical Standard test (PST), Physical Efficiency Test (PET) & written examination The Selection Procedure of UP Police SI starts with the written test and is followed by the Physical standard test (PST) and Physical Efficiency test (PET)- Physical Standard Test (PST):

Male: 4.8 km in 28 minute.
Female: 2.4 km in 16 minutes.
