Today, we are sharing the Last Minute Tips for RBI Grade B 2017 Exam. The Phase - I of RBI Grade B 2017 Exam is scheduled on 17th June 2017. So, the purpose of the last minute tips is to strategize yourself & utilize your strength in the best way to crack the exam and the grab the seat for phase – II.

RBI Grade B Phase – I 2017 Exam Pattern

The exam pattern of RBI Grade B 2017 exam will help in getting a clear idea or a fair estimate of the number of questions being asked in the exam and with the maximum number of marks.

Time Allotment for Each Section:

Though time division are crucial factors for every exam. Sectional Timings is an Important aspect to be kept in mind while attempting the exam as it will help you in attempting more questions to clear sectional as well as overall cut off. Following is the sectional timing allotted for each section:

Important Tips: 

A) Thorough study of Syllabus & Exam Pattern:

  • A complete study of syllabus is required before you go for any exam, as it helps to cover all the topics and makes us aware about the scoring topics to be attempted first in the exam.
  • Do have a look at each topic individually and revise the short tricks of each section to save your time in the exam.
  • Exam pattern gives you an estimate of the number of questions being asked & to be attempted to clear the cut off.

B) Time Allocation:

  • Time Allocation is an important aspect to be remembered while attempting the exam. It helps you to make a sterling strategy & attempt maximum number of questions within the time limit.
  • Don’t get pressurized with the time limit, make yourself calm and attempt questions as per the time allocated by you. Move on to the next section according to the time limit you have allocated to attempt maximum number of questions.

C) Negative Marking:

  • As the competition has become tough with increase number of competitors and changing pattern, it is important to take every step carefully.
  • Never forget about the negative marking. Avoid guess work here, attempt only those questions in which you are sure of to avoid negative marking and score more positive marks.

D) Mock Tests/Previous Year Paper:

  • Mock Tests help you to enhance your performance and show you a true picture of your preparation. Solve as many mocks as you can, analyze them and get your doubts cleared.
  • Also solve previous year paper to know the pattern & types of questions being asked in the exam.

E) Subject wise strategy:

  • English – Attempt only those questions which takes less time & you are confident with. This section is scoring if you have a planned strategy.
  • Quantitative Aptitude – Use short tricks as much as you can to tackle the time limit and go with accuracy in this section. Solve DI in the last as it time consuming with less asureity and attempt other sections like simplification, miscellaneous which takes less time and are more scoring.
  • Reasoning Ability - Attempt Puzzles in last, as they are time consuming and even after spending 15-20 minutes there is no asureity of getting the correct answer. 
  • General Awareness – To attempt this section effortlessly, be aware of the recent financial changes, appointments and other big factors.

F) Strive for Mental Peace:

  • Always remember, a person with a stable mind can handle even the toughest situation with ease. And preparation for the exam is one of the tough situation for aspirants.
  • In these last minutes don't get yourself pressurized, stay calm, eat healthy and take a proper nap to strike the exam.
  • Also, Do not forget to take along the photograph (same as that on the admit card) and xerox as well as the original ID proof with you.
