Level of the exam – Moderate to Difficult
  • 2 passages were asked. Synonyms/ Antonyms were asked in both passages.
  • Double Fillers - 5 Questions were asked from this topic.
  • Identifying correct/ incorrect sentence among the given options - 5 questions were asked from this topic.
  • Spotting Errors (both grammatical and misspelt words) - 5 questions
  • Idioms based - Meaning of idioms was given in different statements and you had to identify the sentence with correct meaning of given idiom/phrase.

Reasoning Ability NIACL AO Mains Exam Analysis

Number of questions - 50
Level of the exam – Moderate 
  • Seating Arrangement / Puzzles - 4 sets (20 questions) were asked. These included Circular arrangement, ranking based puzzle including colors as other parameter, Linear Arranegement with marks as other parameter.
  • Syllogism - This topic had 5 questions based on new (as asked in IBPS PO Mains) as well as old pattern.
  • Alphabet Coding/ Analogy - Questions from these topics were also asked.
  • Miscellaneous - This involved questions from blood relation, direction sense, ranking, coding - decoding (sentence coding) etc.

Quantitative Aptitude NIACL AO Mains Exam Analysis

Number of questions - 50
Level of the exam – Moderate to Difficult (Section was Calculative)
  • Data Interpretation - 3 sets were asked (15 Questions). This involved questions from Tabular graph, Bar graph and mixed graph consisting of pie and tabular chart.
  • Number Series - This involved 5 questions based on identifying the wrong number in the series.
  • Data Sufficiency - Questions from this topic were comparatively difficult. This involved questions based on normal Data sufficiency as well as quantity based data sufficiency as asked in IBPS PO Mains Exam.
  • Miscellaneous - Major chunk of this section consisted of Miscellaneous questions. These were comparatively difficult and calculative.
