Complete Details of Lucky Grahak Yojana

Making India an Cashless Economy requires participation of all countrymen. To increase the interest on people towards making cashless transactions, government has released a scheme known as Lucky Grahak Yojana. The aim of this scheme is to award people for using cashless means of payment. Please understand that not everyone will be rewarded. Lucky draws on daily, weekly and monthly basis will be drawn to find out the winner. The winners will be selected randomly via the transaction id.Let’s find out everything related to this scheme i.e. from participation to results.

  • Started by – NITI Aayog & National Payment Corporation of India (NPCI)
  • Date of Launch – 15 December 2016
  • Scheme Starts from – 25th December 2016
  • Scheme Valid till – 14th April 2017

Valid Digital Payment Forms Under the Lucky Customer Scheme 


  • UPI – Unified Payment Interface
  • USSD – Phone Based Payment System using *99#
  • AEPS – Aadhaar Enabled Payment System
  • Rupay Card – Rupay Debit Cards

Eligibility for Lucky Grahak Yojana

  • For daily and weekly draws, all digital transactions of amount Rs. 50 to Rs. 3000  from 25th December are eligible
  • For Mega Draw, the digital transactions starting from 8 November 2016 to 13 April 2016 (From Rs 50 to Rs. 3000) done via the modes mentioned above are eligible
Note – Currently this scheme will not work for private credit cards and Digital Wallets

LUCK GRAHAK YOJANA DRAW- DAILY/WEEKLY AND MEGA DRAW

Daily Draw
Starting from 25th December 2016, 15 thousand people will receive cashback of Rs. 1000 to 15,000 everyday for a period of 100 days

Weekly Draw
Starting from 25th December 2016, prizes worth Rs. 1 Lakh, 10,000 and 5,000 will be given to 7000 people per week

LUCKY GRAHAK YOJANA – MEGA DRAW RESULTS

3 Mega prices will be given. Here are the details
  1. First Prize – Rs. 1 Crore
  2. Second Prize – Rs. 50 Lakh
  3. Third Price – Rs. 25 Lakh
  4. Mega Draw Result Date – 14th April 2017


SELECTION OF LUCKY GRAHAK YOJANA WINNER NAMES

People are not clear about the process using which the winner names will be decided. Here is the complete process –

As you know every digital transaction has a transaction ID, right ! So, to find out the winners there will be lucky draw on the basis of transaction ID. Every digital transaction i.e. UPI Payment, Internet Banking, Payment through E-Wallet, Payment with Aadhaar Card(AEPS), Payment with Rupay cards etc. will be eligible. On the day of lucky draw, any transaction ID will be selected randomly and the the person who initiated the transactions will be declared the winner of this scheme.
